Welcome Home
Everyone loves the feeling of coming home. There's just something about being completely yourself in your own space. A big part of home, at least for me {aside from my family} is what my house looks like...especially on the inside. Shallow? maybe.....but I don't care because my house is usually a wreck. Honesty. I have little children and cleaning up after them is like shoveling snow in a snowstorm. {but I live in the desert so it's more like pounding sand...in a sand storm...} I'm also really busy & I have not always loved home decor...in fact, I was once "grounded" until I hung a few pictures on my wall as a teenager. I've come a long way! I've learned that my home is where things need to be calm, clean, organized, and "pretty"{for lack of a better word...}. I've grown to love making my space comfortable on whatever budget I have {which is usually pretty minimal...yay for yardsales!}, and with however much I time have. Whether for myself or things I'm working on for someone else, my projects keep the sanity. I love making my home nice. Therefore, on this site I'd like to share my ideas, my work, my projects, my messes, my house, and probably a few pictures of the kids. So here's to being being comfy in our own spaces....welcome home.
